Municipal culture centre Factory Heeder

In the year 1906 the presently listed building Virchowstr. 130 has been founded as wallpaper factory Heeder & Co. Since 1989 the factoy Heeder is being used a municipal culture centre managed by culture office.

The culture office offers a diverse cultural programme. the photo gallery shows exhibitions regularly. Factory Heeder has gotten a good reputation in the dancing scene in NRW as a performance site. In addition KRESCH, the municipal Krefeld children and youth theatre centre has obtained a permanent training, rehearsal and performance place the Factory Heeder.
The youth welfare office uses four work rooms for video, pottery, wood and metal work.
The Gemeinschaftstheater Krefeld Mönchengladbach obtained apart from rehearsal and requisites rooms a second venue.

The women's culture office NRW maintains its office in Heeder and operates from here nationwide.
As a 'public meeting place' the utilisation also aims at the citizens of Krefeld itself. It is possible to hire rooms for events.

The restaurant 'Kulisse' in Factory Heeder at the south district has become a meeting place by now. Their concerts a known in the scene.
