The Culture Factory is a popular venue at the Lower Rhine.

Soon after the opening in 1983, stars and such who wanted to become one thronged here in and out. Herbert Grönemeyer, die Toten Hosen, Hanns Dieter Hüsch, to name but a few. They show the spectrum of the KuFa. Even members of the senate celebrated their birthdays here at the KuFa.

The Cultre Factory grew, prospered and with the concept 'KuFa 2000' to get a new domicile municipal funds and even state funds were made available. In addition own resources, donations and the work of many honourable helpers have secured the existence of the club KuFa for many years.
Before the move in 1994, there were annually around 180 events in the diverse areas - music, cabaret, comedy, (children's) theatre, movie, literature, art in its own gallery and disco -, which are being visited by more than 60.000 spectators every year.

In the two new halls (1.100 and 320 capacity) a better atmosphere could be further developed with the new disco-concept as well as a Cafe-Bistro for the spectators and an attractive backstage area for the artists.
